​Puppies are like sponges and learn incredibly fast. Being proactive and starting training early helps prevent problem behaviors before they appear and sets the foundation for a confident, well-adjusted pup. If your puppy is between 2–4 months old, I offer a discounted 4-lesson puppy package- the perfect way to get started.

Skills we can work on with your puppy: Crate training, sit, down, recall, place, leash manners, potty training, barking, biting, fair play, socialization and more.

Dogs 4 Months Old and Older
​​Individual Lesson= $90

Skills we can work on:​ Heel, sit, lay down, recall, place, reactivity to dogs/people/cats, separation anxiety, crate training and more​.

Length: Each lesson is approximately 1 hour long.​​

Locations: Private Lessons are available in Qualicum Beach, Parksville, and Nanaimo.
​​​Training is a commitment for both you and your dog, so it’s important to click with your trainer. The initial lesson is a chance for us to meet, chat about your goals and any challenges, and get started on training. The initial lesson tends to be 1 hour-1.5 hours long. By the end, we’ll figure out the best plan for you and your dog, together!

Initially, we will have lessons at locations that are familiar to your dog, such as your home and neighbourhood. ​It can be overwhelming for dogs to learn new skills so it’s best to start in an environment that is comfortable and has minimal distractions. ​When your dog has a good handle of the skills they learned, we will move on to having the lessons at different locations. This will give your dog a challenge and teach them to apply their skills in various environments.​ Your dog's training will progress to different locations only when your dog is ready.
Booking Policy
​
Deposits: At the time of a booking, I ask for a $20 deposit to hold your reservation.
​
Fees: The remainder of the fee is due the day of the lesson.
​
Cancellation/Rescheduling: I require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This allows me to accommodate other clients and manage my schedule effectively. Less than 24 hours notice will result in a fee of $20.
​
If you need to reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible. I will try my best to accommodate your new preferred time, subject to availability.
​
No-Show Policy: If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment without prior notice, a "no-show" fee of half the lesson fee will be charged.
​
Payment: Cash or etransfer is accepted.
