My Dog Training Philosophy

Training That Builds Trust, Connection, and Confidence

My goal is to strengthen the relationship and connection you have with your dog. I do this by assessing your pup's behavior thoughtfully, communicating with you about your goals and expectations, and coming up with strategies for both you and your dog. I use a variety of tools and techniques, selected carefully based on each dog’s temperament and learning style.

Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of dogs- reactive, excitable, timid, and everything in between. Many behaviors, good and bad, stem from how we engage with our dogs in the small moments. By adjusting how we give them affection, setting boundaries, and communicating expectations we can create lasting behavioral change.
Helping Dogs Become Their Best Selves
Every dog deserves to be understood, supported, and guided to be their best selves. I’m here to help make that happen. They thrive when they have consistency, compassion, and clarity. A large part of my training focuses on helping you become the leader your canine companion needs. Through humane and effective techniques that promote trust, I guide you both towards a more balanced and content life together.
I believe in challenging, supporting and encouraging dogs in ways that motivates them to learn and grow. With the right guidance, every dog has the potential to thrive.

Training is a Journey
and I’m Here to Support You

Whether you're welcoming a new puppy into your home, addressing problem behaviors, or just want better obedience in distracting environments, I’m committed to helping you and your dog succeed. Flexibility is key. Some progress happens quickly, and other times it takes patience. Every training session may look a little different, and that’s okay. I adapt in the moment to make the best use of our time together, always focusing on what will help you and your dog move forward.
Finding the Right Tools

Whether we’re building confidence, improving obedience, or managing reactivity, I ensure that you and your dog feel comfortable with the methods we use.
Dog training tools can vary widely depending on the dog and the behavior being addressed. The key is to find the right tool that aligns with your dog's individual needs and what works best for you and your family.
